Blood & Ink Records has announced the signing of Birmingham, Alabama's ALL IN. Having previously released their debut album, Nothing To Lose, in 2006 on Hand Of Hope Records, the band has recently been in the studio again working on their sophomore effort. This as-of-yet untitled album will be released by Blood & Ink during the summer of 2008. Also this summer, the band will be doing various tour stints in support of this new release.

Blood & Ink Records has announced the signing of Minnesota's NO WINGS TO SPEAK OF to their roster. Having worked with 3/5 of the band in their previous endeavor FOREKNOWN, the label stated "it only felt natural to welcome these very talented guys back into the family" via a statement on their website.

NO WINGS TO SPEAK OF will begin recording this weekend for their Blood & Ink debut full length, which should see a release date in Spring 2008. A more definite date should be announced shortly. In the meantime, check out demo tracks from the band online at: myspace.com/nwtsomosh.

SEND OUT SCUDS JOIN BLOOD & INK FAMILY

Blood & Ink Records has announced the signing of Florida's SEND OUT SCUDS to their roster. The label had this to say, via a statement released on their website: "After being completely floored by their performance at Cornerstone Florida 2007, we knew it had to happen. Their brand of ska/punk/rock might be a little different for us, yet we think they're so talented that our fans will agree it was a good decision."

Omaha, Nebraska's technical/metallic hardcore outfit THE RECESSION will have their video for "Masterpiece Theatre" premiere on TVU this coming weekend. The video is scheduled to air during the Battery show, which starts Saturday night at 8:00pm on TVU.

"Masterpiece Theatre" appears on THE RECESSION's debut full length, Time, Arithmetic & Other Elementary Subjects Not Well Learned, which was released in September on Blood & Ink Records.

BESIEGED PART WAYS WITH VOCALIST

Michigan's BESIEGED have announced the departure of vocalist Mattie Montgomery from their line-up. Montgomery, who joined the band earlier this year just in time to record vocals for the band's debut album Atlantis, has left on amicable terms to pursue other musical endeavors.

The band released the following statement:

"Mattie Montgomery, our vocalist, has decided to pursue musical goals that are differing from those of the rest of the band. Mattie has been a great addition to BESIEGED, and, more importantly, he has been a great friend to all of us."

Following the departure of guitarist Bryan Honhart, BURDEN OF A DAY have announced the addition of Mike Sommers to their line-up to fill the vacancy. Sommers has been a longtime friend of the band, having played numerous shows alongside BURDEN OF A DAY with his previous endeavor RILEY VS. AUBREY. Sommers is also the brother of the band's other guitarist Josh Sommers.

LINEUP CHANGES FOR THE GENTLEMAN HOMICIDE & BESIEGED

Two Blood & Ink Records bands have announced lineup changes this week: THE GENTLEMAN HOMICIDE and BESIEGED.

Following the departure last month of vocalist Josh Barbee, THE GENTLEMAN HOMICIDE have moved bassist Ian Sethi to vocals. Formerly of Kentucky band THE NINETY FIVE THESES, Sethi has also been creating solo music recently and has reportedly taken up his new role in the band wonderfully. THE GENTLEMAN HOMICIDE are currently looking to fill their now vacant bassist position.

Similarly, BESIEGED have parted ways with singer Freddie, who has decided to concentrate on his family and teaching career. The band has made it clear this departure is on the best of terms, with all involved supportive of the decision. In the wake of Freddie's leaving the band, BESIEGED are currently seeking a new lead vocalist. Blood & Ink Records' THE GENTLEMAN HOMICIDE have announced the departure of vocalist Josh Barbee from their lineup. The band has relayed that the split is an amicable one, with Barbee opting to pursue other endeavors with the full support of his bandmates.

Barbee's last show with THE GENTLEMAN HOMICIDE will take place this Saturday, January 6th in the band's hometown of Amarillo, TX at The Refuge.
